Process Chart Game

Sort the 49 project management processes into the five Process Groups

About this game & rules — click to open

The original game belongs to RMC Learning Solutions and is based on the Process Chart by Rita Mulcahy: rmcls.com/game/process-chart-game-v11 This page is an unofficial Russian-language version, made for a first look at the material.

The game is for getting acquainted with the logic of the process chart. For exam preparation use the official RMC and PMI materials.

Sort the project management processes into the five Process Groups in the correct order, and you will see the whole project as one logical flow.

The five Process Groups (left to right):

Initiating → Planning → Executing → Monitoring & Controlling → Closing.

How to play:

  1. Drag each item from the “Mixed” list into the column of the correct Process Group.
  2. Inside a group, arrange the processes in the correct sequence — the order matters.
  3. Hover a card with the mouse to see what the step means and which tools are used there.
  4. “Play for points” gives you 10 points: every card dropped into the wrong group costs one point and comes back to the pile, and at zero the board resets.
  5. Click “Show results” to check yourself; “Planning processes ordering test” checks the order within the Planning group.
  6. “Shuffle the Mixed list” mixes items again; “Start new game” resets everything.
  7. Works with mouse and touch. Use any modern browser (not Internet Explorer).
